What is CarMore, and where is it installed?
The community posts reviewed here describe installing CarMore on the car’s Android head unit, then choosing an iPhone or Android-phone connection mode. They are community descriptions, not a compatibility certification or an official release record.
This page concerns the car-connectivity app discussed in those posts. Other products and services also use the name CarMore; the name alone does not identify an APK.
CarMore vs DiPlay vs DiAuto
Choose by the phone’s protocol and the head unit’s receiving capability. CarLife and Android Auto are different protocols; support for one does not establish support for the other.
We have not established CarMore’s developer identity, an authoritative source repository or a relationship with DiPlay. Similar features or interface elements do not prove that the apps share an author, license or release history.

CarMore APK downloads and source checks
Our review has not identified a verified official CarMore download channel or confirmed which release is current. A download-site listing or shared filename is insufficient to label an APK official, open source or the latest version.
Before installing an APK, check who published it, its version, package name, signing identity and release notes. Keep a copy of the original source link. The DiPlay download button elsewhere on this site downloads a different app.
We inspected the archived sample below. Its manifest declares an installation minimum; that declaration does not verify CarPlay, CarLife or vehicle compatibility. It is a community-sourced archive, not a verified official or latest release.

Compatibility: what to check before installation
Public descriptions give inconsistent minimum Android versions and version numbers. We have not confirmed a universal minimum, a supported-car list or completed independent vehicle testing. Do not apply DiPlay’s requirements to CarMore.
- Check the head unit’s actual Android version and whether its firmware permits installing third-party APKs. A car model or an Android-looking screen is not enough.
- Match the phone, system version, region and connection protocol to the exact CarMore build. Do not assume every phone from a listed brand works.
- For USB, verify a data-capable cable, port and the connection mode required by that build. For wireless, check Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and the network mode in its instructions.
- Separate installation, pairing, video, touch, music, navigation audio, calls and reconnection. Installing successfully does not prove that the full session works.
If CarMore will not connect
Record the CarMore version and download source, head-unit model and firmware, phone and system version, connection mode, and the exact failure stage. Pairing without video, silent navigation and failed reconnection are different problems.
Follow the instructions for that build’s selected protocol and network mode. Check requested permissions and background restrictions; test a known data cable and data port when USB is supported. DiPlay’s ADB commands, hotspot settings and fixes are not automatically valid for CarMore.
Common questions about CarMore
Does CarMore work with every iPhone and Android phone? The reviewed community claims do not establish universal support. Check the exact phone, protocol and APK, including regional restrictions.
Is CarMore free, open source or an official DiPlay version? We have not verified its licensing, pricing, developer or relationship with DiPlay. Reposts calling it free or open source are not an authoritative license.
Should I replace a working setup? First identify what CarMore would add for your phone. Keep your existing version and settings, and test installation and connection while parked before relying on it.
